Act No. 460/1992 Coll. Constitution of the Slovak Republic of September 1st, 1992
Personal data protection is regulated as an indivisible part of the protection of human rights in the legal system of the Slovak Republic. In this sense the above-mentioned field is included in the Constitution of the Slovak Republic of 1 September 1992 in the Second Head – Basic Human Rights and Freedoms, Article 19 and 22.

| (1) Everyone has the right to the preservation of his human dignity and personal honor, and the protection of his good name. |
| (2) Everyone has the right to protection against unwarranted interference in his private and family life. |
| (3) Everyone has the right to protection against the unwarranted collection, publication, or other illicit use of his personal data. |
